In Daniel 12:4, there is a prophecy about the end times, “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” With the Internet, and especially AI, coupled with the speed and ease of travel, this prophecy has become a clear reality, and we need to be looking for the coming of the Lord sooner than we think. It also presents the ability for believers to travel long distances in a short time. This was true for our family in the last couple of months, where we were able to spread our ministry across hemispheres.
July – Immediately after Youth Camp in June, Kelly and Keenan travelled to her mom’s house for a few weeks. Kelly gets wheelchair help through the airports, and that presents wonderful opportunities for her to talk to and get to know the airport workers, give them a Gospel tract, and tell them the Gospel. She returned to the U.S. with gifts for unsaved people, whom she gave Bibles to, as well. We are amazed how the Lord has provided the finances over the years for her to make these trips. Kendrick and I stayed in Ireland, keeping the animals, as well as trying to maintain two extra church services, teaching and preaching seven times a week. We got to go to a Fourth of July celebration with the other missionaries near Dublin. When Keenan and Kelly returned, Kelly was only back for five days before we drove to the opposite end of the Island to take the boys to a friend’s house, so Kelly and I could get away by ourselves for the first time in 21 years.
We celebrated my 50th birthday and our 25th anniversary in Northern Italy; we chose that area so I could also visit a missionary friend in Milan, Pastor Yetzer. While there, we got to go out soul winning with them, we gave our testimonies to their people, and I also had the privilege of preaching as well. I was shocked by all the apartments and the difficulty in soul winning, but they will go out on the streets giving out tracts and talking to people. Now that I have a better idea of what they face each week, I can pray for him and his lovely family better. We also got to fellowship with Pastor Yetzer and his family late into the night on Sunday evening. During our time in Italy, the boys had a great time helping our friends with their Holiday Bible Club and spending time with their family.
August – We returned from Italy at the end of July, and a few days after returning, Keenan went on to help Pastor Andrew Canavan with his Summer Bible Camp. Kelly headed up to Galway on Keenan’s birthday and took balloons and cupcakes to surprise him. Then the next Monday, Bro. Canavan and one of the workers from NBT came down to help me cut firewood on our property. We got a lot cut and had a lovely time. Then a pastor’s wife and daughter from the USA came to Ireland for a visit, and Kelly got to go with them to a buffalo farm for a ladies’ activity. We had 1 first-time visitor in our July services and 5 in our August services. In the midst of all the travelling, we began counselling a lady for 13 weeks, and she has been really helped by learning to walk in the Spirit with God’s Word. Keith II has been doing well at Crown College. He stayed back and worked through the summer, got his license, and bought his first car. He has been teased about not having his license, but they don’t understand that in Ireland, it usually takes a year and a half and costs hundreds and hundreds of euros to get a license. Because of this, many do not get their license until they are in their 20s. I know 25-year-olds, and even 50-year-olds, who still don’t have a license, but in the USA, anything after 17 is considered unheard of. It is one of the cultural differences we have. In the USA, once he was confident of driving, it took him 3 weeks to pass the tests and to purchase a car. Please pray as he finishes his last year in welding, works in his ministry, and tries to pay his bills.
Soul Winning – When we arrived in Italy, our plane was late, and we ended up losing our car rental and were stuck at the airport at 12:00 a.m. with no way to get to our hotel. A Muslim man from Pakistan, who was an Uber driver, saw our predicament and waited for us. He offered to give me a lift at a cheaper price, and I reluctantly agreed to let him drive us. Thoughts with a mix of terrorist and Uber horror stories were going through my head, and within a few minutes into our conversation, he asked the question I was dreading: “What do you do for a living?” So, I told him I was a Christian Baptist church leader/pastor. He was very interested, and I was able to use information that I learned from Bro. Edgar Feghaly and Bro. Mark Bachman. It seemed that the only “Christians” he really knew of were Catholic. As we began getting to the Gospel, we were suddenly at the hotel. Once we got there, things moved quickly, and the conversation stopped; but Kelly and I were able to give the man a tip, a Gospel tract, and a small Bible. He was so excited to get the Bible, so please pray that the seed that was sown will grow.

Thank you for taking the time to read about what is happening in the area of Ireland where the Lord placed my family and me to serve Him and to spread the glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I continue to pray, as we work in this field, that the Lord will continue to produce fruit and rewards to your account for your consistent prayers and financial support. “For we are labourers together with God . . . .” (I Corinthians 3:9) I pray that this letter will be a blessing to all who read it.
May – This summer has been absolutely full of activities and the one that our teens have been working for—the “First Fruits Convention” in Drogheda. This town is three hours away. Three families drove the distance from our church, including the new Filipino family who had just begun attending our services. They were encouraged to meet other like-minded independent Baptists and have discovered the deep liberalism in the other churches in the Limerick City area. It was a great day and an encouragement to our people. The next week, on May 10, was our Anniversary Barbecue, where we celebrated 11 years of the church. I made a slide show, and we had a returning visitor come and celebrate with us. The next day, we travelled to Dublin to renew Keenan and Kendrick’s passports; we made it a family activity and visited the Irish Military Museum while we were there. Then two weeks later, we had a baptism. It was a Brazilian lad who grew up in independent Baptist churches. He had recently trusted the Lord as his Saviour and asked if I would baptise him. After analysing the situation, I determined he had received the Lord and agreed to baptise him. I purchased a hot tub, and we were able to baptise after the service on May 24. Kelly took the teen soul-winning group to a sister church, Redemption Baptist Church, in Athlone, Co. Westmeath, where they helped with street preaching and outreach. I also continued to attend services in Galway every other week, and filling in for the Day family (missionaries in Ennis, Ireland) in their weekly Thursday night Bible study while they were in the U.S.
June – The Day family returned from the U.S. on the first Wednesday of June, ending my need to fill in for them. Kelly’s birthday was on the 5th of June, but we didn’t get a chance to celebrate until Sunday afternoon, when I took her to a lovely restaurant in the city. I recorded a Father’s Day Barbecue Facebook advertisement and ran it for a week. I had several responses, but unfortunately, we didn’t have any visitors. All of our church people were there, though, and brought loads of food. The Day family live 15 minutes away from us, and they arrived later in the afternoon as well, when their services were finished.
The next day, Youth Camp started, and all of our teens went, including a mom, and one of the girls brought her friend. The theme was the Holy Spirit, and the visiting girl got saved during the week, among many others. All the messages were great, and I got to preach as well on quenching and grieving the Holy Spirit in your life. There was a great spirit among the teens, and God blessed the week. During the week of camp, several other things happened as well. Pastor Day’s mom took a bad turn in her health, and he needed to return to the U.S. to care for her in her final days. As I am writing this letter, she has already passed, and they have her funeral planned. Please pray for them and that they can return to Ireland in a timely manner. In the meantime, I offered to cover his Sunday and Thursday services if he would be willing to change the Sunday service time to 6:30 p.m. He agreed, so I will be filling in for his services until they return to Ireland. Kelly and I also began doing Biblical counselling with a lady in another part of Ireland. I was encouraged that when she began using the King James Bible, she found that it is more readable and understandable than her other Bible. Kelly also took the teen soul-winning group to a sister church, Lighthouse Baptist Church, in Swords, Co. Galway, where they helped with door-to-door soul winning. Our Sunday Bible class grew to the point where we needed to move it from the back room of the church to the main church area—a wonderful problem to have.
Soul Winning – We continue getting the Gospel out each Saturday. I was encouraged when a young adult, who has been attending occasionally for a few years now, texted me saying he had repented, trusted Christ, and wanted me to baptise him. He is from Brazil and began attending with his dad when they came to learn English years ago. At the same time he contacted me, his dad also contacted me from Brazil and wanted me to meet with him because he was talking about strange things. It seems he had been watching videos online about the government’s surveillance abilities and how microchips could be the mark of the beast. He realised the reality of the Tribulation and his need to be saved. Knowing how to be saved from his years in church, he realised his sinful condition and the urgency to be saved, so he asked the Lord to forgive his sins and to save his soul. After meeting with him for two weeks and having deep conversations and answering his questions, I agreed to baptise him, and he brought his girlfriend with him as well. Please pray for her salvation.

March-April '26: Planting, Watering, Laboring.

I am grateful for the time you are taking to read our recent prayer letter, ands I pray it will bee a blessing and encouragement knowing how the Lord is working on the Emerald Isle. We have has some amazing things happen this May, but since this one is covering what the Lord did in March and April you will have to wait for the next letter.
March – This is always an eventful month in Ireland with Mother’s Day and Saint Patricks Day. This year for Mother’s Day we used the Facebook advertising system that we used at Christmas, and this time I only advertised a week in advance. The result was that we ended up with seven visitors coming for the event, as well as seven new WhatsApp contacts. Even though I advertised for a luncheon afterward, they all ended up having to leave, but we were able to honour them with a small gift as well as visitor packets. One of the ladies came back the next Sunday, and we ended up having a church group of 16 people from Georgia, who were passing through and came to our services in the morning. It was a great blessing and filled the room with singing and praise.
On the Tuesday after mothers day, we also went into the Limerick City centre to give out Saint Patrick gospel tracts and Bibles at the parade. It is usually just our family, but this year we also had a teenage girl enthusiastically come out with us. We ended up giving away 21 Bibles that day, and hundreds of Saint Patrick gospel tracts. Afterward, we went to a Thai restaurant and then stopped at McDonalds for shamrock shakes. The whole month the kids were also practicing different things they were planning to do for the First Fruits convention that a sister church holds in May, in a town north of Dublin called Drogheda (Draw-ha-dah). The First Fruits convention was an idea to give the youth across Ireland an opportunity to use their talents and abilities for the Lord. It is not a competition, but they do get assessed by adults who encourage them and give ways that they can improve. It is the 3rd or 4th year and it has been a real encouragement to the youth and families. At the end of the month, the teen started practicing 2x a week to prepare. Kelly also brought the ladies to a ladies meeting and had a delightful time at a sister church in Lucan, Co. Dublin, near the end of the month.
April – This month began with our resurrection Sunday event which we advertised for on Facebook, but this time we didn’t have as many people come, but we did have one local Irish man who visited, and discovered afterward that he has been a Mormon for 40 years. He was not looking to change but he got a clear presentation gospel, and we sent him away with our visitor packet as well. The next day we left for a trip to Romania for a Youth Conference at The Baptist College International. I was trying to encourage our Romanian members to go as well, but they were not able to afford it.
I was really not able either, because the tickets were expensive, but I had already bought them before I found out, and thankfully the Lord need up providing the difference as well. Some of the reasons I was also going was to see the college, for the boys to see the college, for them to experience another culture from Ireland, and to see what it is like not knowing the language. It was a great conference and there were English, Romanian, Greek, Russian and Ukrainian speaking people there. We sang in different languages and there we’re translators as well for the messages, The kids had a great time playing with the others, even though they couldn’t understand each other. Kelly and I also got to teach the kids during different sessions. We have one teenage girl in the church who goes to a public school, and Kelly has had a burden for her to get to fellowship with other young ladies. We talked and prayed about it and she started taking our small group of teens out on Saturday to help a different church in Ireland once a month with their evangelistic outreaches, for fellowship and outreach. 
The first church they went to was three hours away in Drogheda (Draw-ha-dah). On Friday the 24th, Pastor Canavan brought a visiting church group down from Galway to Limerick for three hours of evangelism in the mid day, giving out Bibles, tracts, and talking to people about the gospel. We ended up giving away 17 Bibles in addition to hundreds of gospel tracts. Also during this month we had a new family start coming regularly who moved to Ireland from Singapore, but they are originally from the Philippines. They have gone to Independent Baptist Churches and hold to sound doctrine, so it is wonderful to have them in the services. We also started a 10:30 discipleship class and it has been growing over the weeks.
Soul Winning – We continue getting the gospel out each Saturday, but going out on the street for the Saint Patricks Day parade, and when the church group came down, presented many new opportunities with interested people approaching myself and the others with regard to the Bible. People were delighted and curious as to why we would be just giving away the Bible. One lady said that she had recently gone to buy one at the Catholic Church but it cost €70 that she didn’t have. She got the Bible and the gospel before she left. I also made contact with some people I had not seen in a while as well. It was a great opportunity to chat with many people about their souls and to tell them about Gods free gift of salvation. Please pray for fruit. There is another Baptist church in the area that uses the NIV and one of the members has been opposed to giving that Bible to people, telling us that people can’t understand it. Our new family said they are giving away NIVs on the weekends.

January-February '26: New Themes, Visitors, and Studies

May this letter be a blessing to those who take the time to read it. We are thankful for all the churches and individuals who have faithfully supported our Gospel- preaching ministry in the Limerick area. We pray for much fruit in 2026 as we continue our endeavours. This year, we are pushing forward in doing online advertising, especially because of our lack of visibility at our remote location. I am now trying to use that fact as an advantage, by framing our church as a countryside retreat away from the busy city, in our advertisements. This also lets people who take the bus know that we are not in the city. I have two people who are excited to help me make the videos, so please pray that the Lord continues to draw people in through these advertisements. (Names are changed in our letters for privacy reasons.)
January – As the year began, we began a new theme for 2026, which I titled “Faith and Hope: A Journey Through the Gospels,” based on I Peter 1:21. I will be preaching through the events of Jesus’ life this year. I was also planning to begin a new verse-by-verse Bible study in the book of Proverbs, and I used the opportunity to advertise to the community on Facebook and let people know. It ran for 18 days, had 681 clicks, 14 new contacts, and 1 visitor, a Polish lady named Danielle. I thought she was pretty brave to come to the study, considering the fact that she came alone on a dark Wednesday evening and drove on the narrow, single-lane road up to our church building/house in the woods. She has been fairly faithful in her attendance. Due to the dark evenings, combined with our location, I questioned if we would have any visitors from the advertisement at all, but the Lord brought someone in. Keith II was with us on that Wednesday, and Kelly was sick for the first part of January. Keith II flew back to Crown College on Saturday, the 10th. On the 19th, we received a text that there was a large Northern Lights display in the sky, and we stepped out of our house to witness a brilliant colour display and got some brilliant pictures.
We discovered that Danielle’s birthday was the week of the 28th, so our lovely church lady Lynn took it upon herself to prepare a special birthday cheesecake for her. Danielle was so surprised and delighted. We continue to attend the services in Ennis and Galway every other week.
February – February came with 4 visitors. The first was a couple from western Oregon, an assistant pastor and his wife on vacation. They had received our address from a friend and were wandering our property. I was cleaning our outside bathroom when I suddenly saw them wandering around in our back barn area. They were there for our 10:30 Sunday Bible Class and stayed until 3:00 after our afternoon Bible Hour. The other 2 visitors were an Irish lady and man named Timothy and Sally. They showed up on a Wednesday, and we found out that I had met Sally before and she had just purchased a house on the other side of our hill. On February 11, Danielle brought loads of large Polish donuts for everyone in the Wednesday night Bible study. On February 21, another church in Swords, Co. Dublin, had a Teen Rally, where teens from across the country participated in games, followed by preaching and pizza afterward.
We also finally finished our Sunday Bible class lessons on the Old Testament after 4 years and began doing a discipleship course during that same hour. Before, it ended up being just my family for the last year and a half, but we now have 4 more people attending. On the last weekend of the month, Kelly held a jewellery-making party as a birthday gift to Lynn. Seven ladies ended up coming, and they had a lovely time together. Mrs. Day brought 2 ladies from their Bible study in Ennis, and even Sally came (the lady who recently moved into our area). They all enjoyed the gathering and are hoping to do it again.
Soul Winning – We continue getting the Gospel out on Saturdays, talking to people as we have the opportunity, and letting people in the community know we are in the area and inviting them to join us. Before Danielle came, she told me she was Catholic and wasn't looking to change churches and asked if it was okay if she still came. I told her the studies were open to anyone who wanted to learn the Bible. On the first Wednesday night Danielle came to our Bible study, we had a zealous young man who comes to our Bible studies on occasion. During the study, he was using every opportunity he could to make statements and ask questions concerning the Gospel, and during the service, we played off each other getting the Gospel out over and over throughout the night. Over the weeks, she has heard the Gospel many times, but she is still not open. Please pray that the Lord uses the Word of God to open her heart. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)

Covering: January-February 2026
May this letter be a blessing to those who take the time to read it. We are thankful for all the churches and individuals who have faithfully supported our Gospel- preaching ministry in the Limerick area. We pray for much fruit in 2026 as we continue our endeavours. This year, we are pushing forward in doing online advertising, especially because of our lack of visibility at our remote location. I am now trying to use that fact as an advantage, by framing our church as a countryside retreat away from the busy city, in our advertisements. This also lets people who take the bus know that we are not in the city. I have two people who are excited to help me make the videos, so please pray that the Lord continues to draw people in through these advertisements. (Names are changed in our letters for privacy reasons.)

November – December '25: Battles, Breakthroughs, and Blessings

I hope you are all having a great 2026 and that you will be encouraged by what the Lord has been doing in our neck of the woods (literally). Below is a record of what happened at the end of 2025 in the Limerick City area.
November – November began with the conclusion of the Ladies’ Fall Getaway, and all of the ladies returned encouraged and excited for next year. On Saturday, November 6, Gospel Baptist Church in Lucan, Co. Dublin, hosted a Teen Rally, and it seemed there were about 40 teens who came out for it. We got to bring 3 with us, travelling 2½ hours to get there, but the preaching and activities were an encouragement to everyone.
During this month, I focused on getting the online advertising platform (Digital Tract Ministry) sorted because the Devil was fighting, and we kept running into problems. It seemed like a good solution to our location being out on the countryside, so I kept trying to make it work, but the Devil has fought it all the way. The first battle was getting things set up correctly. I can’t get into all the details, but the biggest issue for Ireland was that the platform uses internet phone numbers through Twilio, and Twilio is not available in Ireland. Since WhatsApp is available, we would be advertising through Facebook (who owns WhatsApp), and many people in Ireland use WhatsApp; we chose that route and tried to get everything set up. I was planning to have a Christmas Eve Carol Service and to read a salvation Christmas Story called “Nothing to Give for Christmas.” The story takes place in the Alps at Christmastime and was read yearly at the Roloff-type boarding school that my wife attended as a teenager. I was really wanting to have a big push, and with our lack of manpower, I was hopeful that this online platform would be a great help in getting people out to the service. At the end of the month, many of the missionaries gathered together for a Thanksgiving dinner in Athlone at Redemption Baptist Church. We also had a tree surgeon cutting 16 very large trees on our property because of the big winter wind storms last year, and they were all next to buildings. This was a financially astronomical, but needed, endeavour.
December – I tried to get everything sorted for the advertising, and I texted one of our ladies to see if she would be willing to create an advertisement for the Christmas Eve Service, which she agreed to do. The Devil intervened again when the lady thought I wanted her to make her own video, but I was planning to record it that next Sunday and just wanted to see if she would be willing. She almost didn’t come to church that next Sunday because she thought she had let me down and couldn’t face me. Thankfully, she didn’t follow her emotions. When she discovered that I had it all ready to record on Sunday, she was delighted, and her daughter made a video as well. I edited them and got the videos uploaded and the Facebook ad set up and ready to go. Soon after on Saturday, the 13th, Keith II returned home from Bible college. Then on Sunday afternoon, we went to Grace Baptist Church’s evening service in Galway, and they also treated everyone to pizza to celebrate Keith’s return. We stayed overnight to use a free hotel night to stay over and to go to the Christmas Market.
On the next day, Monday, the advert was supposed to start running, and by 11:00 a.m., we already had 10 people signed up to come to the Christmas Eve Service. We had a lovely time in Galway and returned home with only a week to get everything on our property ready for the Christmas Eve Service. The other problem was that the tree surgeons had left a large mess in addition to its being mud season, so we had an incredible number of preparations to do to make things welcoming for our visitors. By the Sunday before Christmas Eve, we had 35 people signed up, only 15 parking spaces, and no road parking. There was no guarantee these people would come, but if all of them came as single people, we could not fit them all. The church people worked together to prepare 35 visitor packets. A new road sign and banner sign for the doorway arrived just in time, so that was a relief. Because I was concerned about the number of people who had signed up to attend, I called a hotel, but they closed on Christmas Eve at 6:00 p.m. I also contacted a local meeting hall and never received a reply, so we had no other options but the building on our property. When Christmas Eve arrived, we had 42 people signed up, so I had the church people park as far back on the property as they could. Suddenly, I was getting texts that people were in the hospital. One lady broke her ribs and couldn’t come. Some didn’t have transportation, and others just never responded to follow-up texts after they signed up. We were supposed to start at 6:00 p.m., but we waited outside until 6:20 to greet visitors, but none came. As soon as we went inside, I got a phone call from people asking if we were having the service. They told me they had driven up to the property and then driven to the back, but because there were no cars, they left. They asked if the service had already started. I told them that we were just about to start and they were welcome, but they said they decided to just head home and then hung up. I then asked Kelly to wait outside, because I needed to get started, and thankfully, I did because 10 minutes later, another car pulled up with 4 visitors, and she was able to guide them to parking. We were told that because of the winter darkness on our road, people found it very difficult to find, even with GPS. 
Despite all the spiritual opposition, it was a great night. I was concerned about boredom during the story, but as I sat in a living room chair and read with a crackling fire on the TV screen, everyone listened intently. We ended up having 5 first-time visitors that night and 40 total whom we made direct contact with online. The Day family and one of their church people helped as well in a tremendous way. On New Year’s Eve, we had our regular Bible study and then a Watch Night Service with games, prizes, praise times, hymns, and Creation videos; and then we prayed in the New Year together.
Soul Winning – In addition to getting the Gospel out on Saturdays and handing out a couple hundred of our new Christmas tracts, which Bro. Andrew Canavan graciously customised for us. Next year, I want to create Christmas packets to hand out to businesses and checkout workers. Our Christmas Eve visitors got to hear the Gospel clearly in the story, and we also had opportunities to speak with them directly and found that they were saved and occasionally attend the Baptist Union church nearby.
